Mercado Little Spain aims to be a piece of Spain placed in New York. Literally, as if the best gastronomic offer of the country had been concentrated, presented in a typically Spanish setting and moved with the utmost affection to the centre of Manhattan. The conceptual design of the space is inspired by two main ideas: a market and a town.
The Mercado Little Spain project has an entirely Spanish DNA defined by chef José Andrés, who has been an ambassador for the best Spanish gastronomy in the United States. But it is also American, so its offer is a symbiosis between both countries and cultures.
